Piano
I dedicate this page to the art of playing piano, which is one of my most prized hobbies. I started playing the piano at the age of 7, but within a year, having had a lousy teacher who gave me piles upon piles of homework, I lost interest and stopped. A few years later, I saw an advert for piano lessons, and curious, I called in. The teacher really got me interested, and within a week I was playin a piece by Beethoven, and could name within a second all of the notes. I list here some of the few little recitals I have performed, along with their respective dates and videos.
-26th of October, 2008, Universidad de Costa Rica, a Prelude by Bach, and Hungarian Melody, by Schubert (I messed up a tad bit in the Schubert, disgracefully)
-18th of May, 2008, Universidad de Costa Rica, a Sonatina by Haydn, “Geschoepfe der Nacht” by Alexandre Hajdu, and a Prelude by Skrjabin.
-27th of May, 2007, Universidad de Costa Rica, J.S. Bach’s 3rd Invention, and Haydn’s 10th Sonata
-13th of October, 2006, Museo Juan Santamaria, Rondino by Jacques Frauniere, Mozart’s Minuet, ”In Yugoslav Mode” by Bela Bartok, and finally a Brahms piece for four hands.
